The Framework for Enhancing Student Learning combines accountability with evidence-informed decision making to support a system-wide program of continuous improvement. It formalizes the planning and reporting expectations for all school districts with a focus on improving equity of learning outcomes and enhancing the intellectual, social, and career development of all students in the K-12 public system.

Program Details
An Enhancing Student Learning Report is written annually by each school district as part of the continuous improvement cycle. It offers districts the opportunity to reflect on and adjust practices and to share progress with the public.
The Quality Descriptive Statements for Effective Continuous Improvement are integrated into the resources below. These descriptive statements were co-developed with the Ministry of Education and Child Care and sector volunteers from First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC), Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC), BC School Trustees Association (BCSTA), BC Association of School Business Officials (BCASBO), BC Principals and Vice Principals (BCPVPA), and BC School Superintendents Association (BCSSA).
These documents are intended to support boards of education in the development of strategic plans. The Quality Descriptive Statements for Effective Strategic Planning are integrated into the resources below.
